This Privacy Policy describes how Loftus Studio ("Loftus," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Haira: AI Hair Styler mobile application ("Haira," "the App") on iOS or Android, and related services we operate.
By using Haira, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT HAIRA DOES
Haira is an AI-powered hairstyle try-on app. You upload photos (selfies or portraits), select styles, and receive AI-generated images showing possible hairstyles. The App may offer free and paid features, including subscriptions managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Haira is published by Loftus Studio. This policy applies only to Haira and services linked from this page—not to other Loftus websites or products unless stated otherwise.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information in the following categories:
A. Account and identifiers
- A unique user identifier created when you first use the App (including anonymous sign-in via our authentication provider).
- Authentication tokens stored securely on your device.
- Subscription and purchase identifiers processed by our payment/subscription partner (RevenueCat) and the app stores.
B. Photos and generated content
- Photos you upload from your camera or photo library for hairstyle generation.
- AI-generated output images created from your photos.
- Profile photos you save in the App for faster reuse.
- Optional images attached to feature requests or feedback.
C. App usage and preferences
- Style selections, generation history, and in-app actions needed to provide the service.
- Preferences you set (for example: gender profile, language, theme).
- Usage limits and subscription status.
- Optional feedback you submit about generated images.
D. Privacy choices you control
In Settings, you can manage optional tracking categories:
- Technical (required): needed for security, authentication, core functionality, and aggregated operational statistics.
- Analytics (optional): helps us understand traffic, performance, and feature usage when enabled.
- Profiling (optional): helps us personalize experience and measure effectiveness when enabled.
You can change Analytics and Profiling at any time in the App under Settings → Permissions (Privacy Settings). Technical processing cannot be disabled while using Haira.
E. Device and technical data
- Device type, operating system version, app version, and general diagnostic data.
- IP address and request metadata processed by our servers for security and delivery.
- Push notification tokens if you allow notifications (for example, when a generation completes).
F. Support communications
- Information you send when contacting support (including your user ID, platform, and message content).
We do not require your legal name or email address to create an anonymous account, but you may provide contact details when you email us.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve Haira.
- Process your photos with AI models and return generated images.
- Store your uploads and results, display history, and enable downloads/sharing.
- Authenticate you and protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Manage subscriptions, entitlements, and usage limits.
- Send in-app and push notifications you request or that relate to completed generations.
- Respond to support requests and feature feedback.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. AI PROCESSING AND IMPORTANT NOTICE
Haira uses artificial intelligence to transform your photos. When you request a generation:
- Your image may be sent to our backend and to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and/or Google image models) solely to produce your requested output.
- Results are AI-generated simulations, not professional advice. Outcomes may vary and may not perfectly reflect real-world salon results.
Do not upload images of other people without their permission. You are responsible for the content you submit.
5. PERMISSIONS ON YOUR DEVICE
Haira may request access to:
- Camera: to capture photos for try-on.
- Photo library: to select and save images.
- Notifications: to alert you when generations complete.
You can revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features will not work without required permissions.
6. LEGAL BASES (EEA/UK USERS)
Where applicable, we rely on:
- Contract: to provide the App and features you request.
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and aggregated analytics (balanced against your rights).
- Consent: optional Analytics and Profiling, notifications where required, and any tracking that requires consent under applicable law.
- Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose data by law.
7. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run Haira, including:
• Supabase (authentication and database hosting)
• Amazon Web Services / cloud storage and CDN (image storage and delivery)
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• OpenAI and/or Google (AI image generation processing)
• Infrastructure and hosting providers for our API
- App store platforms (Apple, Google) when you make purchases through them.
- Authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice where required by law).
Each provider is authorized to process data only as needed to perform services for us and under appropriate safeguards.
8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We may process and store data in countries other than your own (including the United States and the European Union). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. DATA RETENTION
We retain information only as long as necessary to:
- Provide Haira and maintain your account.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
When you delete content in the App (for example, generated images or profile photos), we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, subject to backups and legal retention requirements.
10. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent (for optional processing).
- Data portability.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (EEA/UK).
Turkey (KVKK): You may exercise rights under applicable Turkish data protection law by contacting us at privacy@loftus.app.
California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell personal information. You may request access, deletion, and correction. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
IN-APP: PRIVACY & ACCOUNT (SETTINGS)
In the App, open Settings → Privacy & Account to:
- View your User ID (needed to verify privacy and account requests).
- Open this Privacy Policy in your browser.
- Start a Request Account Deletion email to privacy@loftus.app (your device’s email app opens with a pre-filled subject and your User ID).
HOW TO EXERCISE RIGHTS OR DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT
You may request access, correction, or deletion by any of the following:
1. In the App: Settings → Privacy & Account → Request Account Deletion (recommended). This opens an email to privacy@loftus.app with the subject "Haira Account Deletion" and your User ID pre-filled.
2. By email: Send a message to privacy@loftus.app with the subject "Haira Privacy Request" or "Haira Account Deletion." Include your in-app User ID (available under Settings → Privacy & Account, or included automatically when you contact support from Settings → Support & Feedback → Email Support Team).
3. For general support (not account deletion): hello@loftus.app.
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing a request (for example, by confirming the User ID and any additional information you provide). We aim to respond within 30 days.
Account deletion: If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your account, uploaded photos, generation history, and associated personal data, except data we must retain for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, or aggregated data that no longer identifies you. Deletion is completed after we process your verified request; it is not instantaneous from the moment you send the email.
You can also delete individual generated images and profile photos inside the App without deleting your entire account.
Subscriptions: Deleting your account or personal data does not cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Removing the App from your device does not end billing.
Backups: It may not be possible to remove every copy of your information from backup systems immediately. We delete or anonymize personal information in active systems within a reasonable period after a verified deletion request, consistent with our retention obligations.
11. CHILDREN
Haira is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@loftus.app and we will delete it.
12. SECURITY
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), secure credential storage on device, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
13. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The App may link to third-party sites or app stores. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review them.
14. APP TRACKING TRANSPARENCY (iOS)
If we engage in tracking that requires Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT), we will request your permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. You can change your choice in iOS Settings. Optional Analytics and Profiling in Haira are separate from ATT and are controlled in the App's Privacy Settings (Settings → Permissions).
15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://loftus.app/products/haira-ai-hair-styler/privacy and change the "Last Updated" date. Material changes may be communicated in the App where appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
16. SUMMARY OF KEY PRACTICES (FOR APP STORE DISCLOSURE ALIGNMENT)
- Photos and generated images: collected to provide AI hairstyle try-on.
- Identifiers: user ID, device/app data, subscription IDs.
- Optional analytics/profiling: only per your in-app privacy toggles (Settings → Permissions).
- AI providers process photos to generate images.
- No sale of personal information.
